Sherman is a sweet and quirky boy, he is quite dog social and generally happy to make friends with any of the dogs he meets, he is however human selective, he doesnt love everyone but when he chooses you, he is the most loveable and playful boy.
Sherman can be overwhelmed in new environments on his own and gains confidence with his friends. He has been on many of our offsite outings with our staff and other dogs and has enjoyed it. A home without children or older teenagers would be a better fit for Sherman as he isnt a fan of the unpredictable.
Sherman has gone to foster care where we were able to determine how he goes in the world of pet expectation. Sherman did take some time to settle in, he will require a home that is prepared to allow him to become comfortable at his pace and not a home that will expect him to “come around”, he loves routine, infact he thrives on it. A quiet adult only home is the best one for him, he warms more to women than men and he does not wish to interact with children at all.
Sherman loves other dogs and a home with other dogs is the most ideal for him.
If you think you can offer Sherman the home he wants contact GAP and we can arrange a meeting, be prepared he will be more interested in the staff than you as they are his people at the moment.
